You need to appear larger than life and strong enough to do impossible feats because you’re so much stronger than any enemy.

But also, every enemy is a major threat and we’re so very, very weak and need to do X to not be overrun by the enemy.

The dichotomy of fascism is brutally effective with their base throughout history by using these techniques. Appear both strong and weak, depending on the context.

These are far worse stats than I had expected haha, appreciate the context; and agreed that it’s a multiple of variables, not just education. Cultural issues are a real problem, especially in the more entrenched southern states/towns.

Yup, it’s truly horrifying some days.

Think of how absolutely stupid the average person is, with average intelligence. Likely, they can barely read at a high school level in most cases and can barely make good decisions about, well, anything, especially things outside their limited area of expertise/influence.

I was making a response to clarify that that was not the correct/common spelling people would associate with the term in the context you tried to use it in. Then you posted a response that literally proved my point. Then I pointed that out with screenshots and links. Now you’re deep into this trying to double down on a broken argument for something that really doesn’t matter man.

You don’t want to learn something you (almost certainly) weren’t aware of before this exchange. That’s fair. That’s your bag to carry, not mine. It’s not my job to force you agree with very minor misuses of esoteric bits of language that I happen to know a fair bit about and can (and have) backed up.

That is the correct spelling of it. Nark might be acceptable by webster’s standards as a less common alternative, but it’s not how that word was spelled or used until people started colloquially mis-spelling it. That is what merriam-Webster’s does, they keep up with language as it evolves.

But to be clear, Nark is not the canon spelling for this. Narc is. Nark is a misspelling that became colloquially accepted. That does not make it the correct spelling 🙂

People are downvoting you, and as much as I would like it to not be true, you are right. There’s too many male dems I’ve talked to that didn’t vote for Kamala because she was a woman. It was shocking, and disappointing to say the least.

But this is unprecedented. We are in for a very, very bad time, his bad decisions just haven’t caught up and had an impact yet. Everyone’s been trading on hype from what he’s been saying/doing and anxiety of what to expect in a few months/years.

Nobody knows for sure, but come July, we’re going to have a lot of empty shelves, and Q2/Q3/(Q4 especially) profits are going to drop like a rock. The market WILL tumble. And anyone still in it will be left holding the bag for the next few decades until it slowly recovers. Assuming we don’t keep going down this shit path trump and his nazi traitors have us on. Because then it will just keep getting worse and we will not recover. The lows will be the new highs and we will become like Russia.
