Great recommendation. Somewhere in the Between was my introduction to the genre! So many good memories listening to both of these albums nonstop in high school, totally reshaped my whole musical identity at the time.

I think the idea of average speed cameras are interesting. Basically, just have multiple cameras and use the time a driver takes to get from one to the other to calculate their average speed. This way you can’t game it by slowing down at specific points.

Here's whyEnglish1·2 years agoIt’s true that you’ll probably see something unpleasant on public transit once in a while but most folks aren’t going to share the experience of someone who is literally tasked with engaging with and managing the people causing problems on the bus.
It’s unfortunate though because in my experience transit feels a lot more pleasant when there are at least a decent amount of people riding with you. When people start to feel unsafe and stop riding, it can drive further people away if they have other transportation options.

Some of my favorite days are the ones I spend on my own taking the train out of town when I need to travel, even though it’s not the fastest way to get around

After Zelda dropped I had pretty low expectations for this direct but there was a lot of stuff in there!! The one that actually captured my attention the most was Penny’s Big Breakaway. All that movement stuff just looks so smooth and fun.
Also stoked for all the Mario love, the art style they’re going for with Mario Wonder is so expressive, kinda reminds me of the Mario and Luigi games

If so, there's an incoming Nintendo Direct!6·2 years agoIt feels like we’re getting toward the end of the switch life cycle, but sales are still strong and Nintendo probably would love to hold onto this install base they have. Wonder if we get some acknowledgement of that life cycle or potentially a new console soon.

Tried others here and there but always quickly went back to relay for one reason or another. I’ll be sad to see it go

Twitter straight up neutered api access for 3rd party apps late last year. It’s a race to the bottom here.
Having just watched it last night, I had the same gripe as you did regarding the titan changes coming undone, but now I think it kinda works well with the shift in tone we get when it’s revealed that despite the events that took place, the cycle is doomed to continue.
There’s a real sense of optimism after the fight that I think is actually pretty important to one of AoT’s messages about how even if we’re trapped in these awful cycles, there are moments within those cycles where things can be good and worth living for.
