I like the more plain approach that Aurora Store is going for. It is an alternative Frontend to the Google Play API, but has just apps and nothing else. Posting reviews seems pretty straight forward although I never did it.

They have at least a Plugin for Jellyfin. It’s not federated but matches the spirit quite well I believe. The whole database dump is just 12GB anyway.

Their FAQ says kind of:

For most devices, the hardware and firmware will prevent providing a reasonably secure device, regardless of the work put into device support.

The requirements that GrapheneOS has on the hardware, like relocking the bootloader and hardware level access, should be part of rights to repair / digital markets act imo. They are even considering producing their own hardware in the future.

The GrapheneOS forums say there is no intent on implementing this. It will probably be locked behind Google play services anyway.

I have the same setup, you have to add the line Environment="HSA_OVERRIDE_GFX_VERSION=10.3.0" for that specific GPU to the ollama.service file

I am on Fedora as well and have used the microsoft wireless dongle with the medisalix/xone kernel module in the past, but i stopped using it since it had me pull and plug the dongle once every while to make it work again.

Nowadays i just use bluetooth (with my xbox one and xbox series x controller). You actually don’t need any additional packages for that. Three things to consider about this:

• You possibly have to upgrade the controller firmware with an atrocious app on a windows machine
• pairing is a nightmare (needed an hour for one controller always trying until the pairing completed)
• You need to set some bluetooth settings in a config file for Bluetooth LE timings since the microsoft team thought it would be funny to not let the controller advertise the right configurations.

All that said, once paired and configured it just works ™. Feel free to reach out if you need further information.

Thats what I noticed as well. I think it was about three cancels at every menu point.
