Nintendo has more than enough actual confirmed issues to attack them on. Inventing issues on hardware components that do not exist is a mental gymnastics exercise that draws attention away from actual issues with their hardware.

They added mod support to MS Store/Game Pass games ages ago. If locking it down like that was their intention they would’ve never even done that to begin with.
Wonder Egg Priority had so much potential but the last third of it was just so awful.
I second this, it’s incredibly frustrating and perhaps because of the type of demographic that’s on Lemmy, it happens a lot more than on Reddit?
Plenty of singleplayer games are from indies, those more or less support the developer.
That’s not how chips work… It would be a miracle if it even scaled linearly but most of the time it doesn’t. Without going into too much detail, there’s a reason why Intel and AMD make different chips for laptops, desktops and servers.
I mean it’s a portable device that sips less power. That’s a pretty bad faith comparison.
Until handheld PCs can be as compact and light as the Switch, it’s not a problem at all. I can fit a Switch Lite into my pocket, I can’t say the same for a Deck.
Not the rest of the world though, we didn’t vote for this. Your fellow countrymen did and sure they get what they deserve I guess, but why do we also have to suffer?
Probably because they’re not good enough to know any better.
Someone on Reddit mentioned that the Japanese website never mentioned VRR support when docked so it does seem like it was a mistranslation.
Trains can be faster than planes once you include the time needed to go to a airport and the check in process. Bullet trains in Japan are much faster than taking the plane and are more expensive sometimes as a result for certain routes.
You don’t have to use it. I for one am glad for this feature.
I’m assuming they mean authorized by the resort rather than the government.
It’s not currently my own jellyfin server but I am looking to set up one soon. Thanks for the huge write up though, it’ll be very helpful when I eventually get to it. So far whenever I searched it up, I just found a lot of complaints on GitHub with not much solutions, so I really appreciate it.
Is there some trick to get it to work properly? Everytime I tried to use it, it works fine for like 10 minutes and then everyone desyncs to hell.
It’s still better than Plex’s which didn’t work at all though.
That’s a rather misleading headline, it’s completely different from what the article which talks more on adopting good practices.
Wtf even is masculine energy in the context of a business? Stealing your employees’ breast milk?
I second 86 and Fate although they can be pretty serious. That said, I recommend starting Fate from Unlimited Blade Works then to the Heaven’s Feel movie trilogy before going to Zero since Zero was meant to be a prequel and spoils Heaven’s Feel. That was how the original source material was meant to be read. Additional bonus in that Unlimited Blade Works has a much lighter tone that is more approachable for people new to Fate.
Seems Par for the course for Lemmy tbh, they tend to come up with all sorts of hyperbolic scenarios for these companies they hate. I’ve seen it with Microsoft too even though that is a company with a ton of valid things to complain about.
