To everyone saying this is AI, I can assure you it’s not. It’s an editorial blog from a well known journalist. He does write in a more relaxed conversational style but I am sure, after following his site for over 20 years now, he’s not using AI.

Puerto Rico had been owned by the United States since the US took it during the Spanish-American War in 1898. It is part of the US. There have been multiple votes asking if they want to become an official state of the US. I would agree with this except that I don’t have faith that it won’t be leveraged as a way to get out of a whole crapload of taxes. I’m pretty sure that unemployment insurance, and a lot of the federal taxes, are based on wages and not tips. Also what is the limit? Can I pay my friend $50 to mow my lawn and tip him an extra $25,000, just so I can get around the limit for a gift tax? I wouldn’t trust a Republican administration to implement this without making it easier for Rick people to avoid paying taxes.

This is how I do it. No striping, normal partitions, different hard drive sizes, pretty easy. This way makes upgrades super easy too. Currently running 76TB mergerfs with 2 14TB Snapraid parity drives.

This is the best answer I’ve seen in this whole thread. You’re right that the key is not needed. Microsoft identified your system components and did the original activation based on the hardware you’ve got on your computer. All you need to do to bring back a licensed copy of Windows is to reinstall it.

Based on my experience, this honestly sounds like a VA policy. I’m on Bupropion through the VA (for possibly similar reasons as you’d want Vyvanse) and they are particularly stingy about it, only giving me a 30 day supply at a time.

Even with a different provider at the VA, you may get the same result.

Just make sure it’s RFC 2324 compliant. You don’t want it throwing any HTTP 418 error messages.

If you’re having power on issues, I would make sure you are using a standalone power brick. I’ve used a Surface Pro for work and I’ve found that sometimes when connected to the docking station, it wouldn’t power on. When connected to a standalone power brick it usually would. For a standalone power brick, I’ve used both the one that came with the Surface and also a 65W USB-C adapter with a USB-C to Surface per cable.
