True. But the comment I was replying to was referencing the monitoring itself, not the outcome.
If you’re talking about masterbating, then that’s not unusual or a bad thing necessarily. I didn’t encounter porn until late high school yet I would do that frequency as a younger kid. That’s normal for boys. What’s not normal is that you seem to have pathologized it.
If there’s a reliable way to only be alerted to specific activity, then the parents aren’t really actively spying, in the sense that the kids still have privacy when they aren’t transgressing into prohibited space. As long as that prohibited space is reasonable (huge debate possible there of course) and the kids know about the restrictions. imo

9·2 years agoIn private I bet most of these people don’t talk about it at all. They probably don’t actually have strong opinions on the subject one way or the other. They just use the hate to inflame their tool followers to keep themselves in their positions of wealth.
1·2 years agoIt went through because the judge thought that the only relevant thing was where CoD would be, and that 10yrs = forever. Neither is true though.
who actually needs this and why?
Anyone who wants to avoid traffic. Or get somewhere without road access. It would be great if this world could be less covered in asphalt.

Kagi on iOS and Mac. DDG w/Google on Android because my preferred Android browser, Vivaldi, doesn’t offer Kagi. Anyone know how to default Vivaldi to Kagi?
