Your wording seems to imply the issue is whether or not they’re real agents. But the kidnapping is completely fucked either way.

You’re missing the point. I don’t care if he’s a real ICE agent. ICE agents’ detentions are also illegal kidnapping. If anything, it’s worse when the official agents are the ones doing it.
Nah, this isn’t what we feared would happen. We’re equally concerned with the actual officers committing crimes against people, if not more so due to their access to resources and being backed by the government.
Isn’t that the entire design philosophy of tailscale?: reduce friction, at the cost of some security.
If security is your main priority, you should be using more secure options, even if they are less convenient or tougher to maintain.
That’s what happens when our police are trained by the IDF. And we have zero accountability for cops, to the point that they feel perfectly comfortable committing crimes on camera.
This may have been one of the more humiliating instances, but not even close to the most egregious move by the city/state against cop city protestors. And the state attorney general (looking to make a name for himself for a gubernatorial run) has obliterated any semblance of the fourth amendment in the state. He’s stated not having your cell phone with you at a protest is an arrestable offense, and is going after bail funds.
Not to mention the state police murdered one of the climate activists, and covered it up with the help of the GBI.
Georgia fucking sucks. The GOP is setting up a Desantis/Abbott style fiefdom, and the state Democrats (notoriously indistinguishable from the state’s GOP) are helping them do it.
Damn. They’re really ripping the copper wiring out of the walls.
He’s trying to keep the money and weapons flowing in. He’s also used the ongoing proxy war to justify not holding elections, and people remain pissed at him for pretending to be a peace candidate to get elected. Just like Netanyahu, he knows ongoing conflict is his best hope to hold onto his position.
He’s an actor who was hired to play a role by a European oligarch. The whole financial scheme was revealed in the Pandora Papers. This is just part of the act.
Why?
Yeah, I get it. I just prefer the polish.
Emby’s better than both, but jellyfin folks are probably going to crucify me for saying that.
It was the same with the Jewish population 80 years ago, where it was mainly just the far right extremists and the government that hated Jews. How’d that work out?
Well when the far-right leadership were the main ones that hated Jews 80 years ago, it didn’t seem to stop that minority. So I don’t see how ‘not all Germans’ is supposed to be reassuring.
If Germany stops working with the US and NATO to continually escalate, and stops backing the far-right extremists in Ukraine, they won’t need to buy weapons from Israeli fascists.
They learned the wrong lessons. They thought the issue was targeting Jews, and not the genocide part. So now they’ve moved to taking Arab lives, which they believe to be less valuable.
It’s wild that, as Israel’s genocide becomes more publicly exposed and people/countries are distancing from Israel, Germany is doubling down on their relationship with Israel.
Clearly, de-nazification did not work as intended post WW2.
We need a federal law against requiring grass lawns. People need to be legally protected when they want to replace with native/edible plants.
Unfortunately wrong. The marshals work for Pam Bondi at the DOJ. Still under the control of the executive.
There it is. Law enforcement has openly declared to kill protesters. You now know that you must fight them like your life depends on it, because they have admitted their intent.
This is exactly the behavior your 2nd amendment rights are meant to protect you from. They are ready & excited to kill you. What are you willing to do to stop them?
