Wouldn’t it make more sense to test aerodynamics of a cat in a dynamic pose?
You’re extrapolating your own meaning from it, you’ve had 3 separate people telling you “I don’t take it to mean this” and yet each time you’ve tried to tell them how they mean it this way.
You’re pulling info that confirms your bias and ignoring actually testimony from multiple sources otherwise.
You can’t reason away other people’s thought processes to say they mean this, the best you can do is say, I took it as this, because of this, and I don’t like it.
I suppose so, I’ve never considered others probably browser different than me
You don’t need to join any communities to see them
Hello friend, Lemmy isn’t quite big enough that you need to post these twice, as it is, it will get seen even if you post to an entirely dead community. Multiple times just takes up space
This is far from over, this pot is about to boil
Judging by that tent, he really likes it

yokonzo@lemmy.worldto Android@lemmy.world•What is "Mobile Services" and would disabling it prevent me from being able to send and receive texts or calls?English1·9 months agoYeah and a meteor could smash into your house in the next 30 minutes but I wouldn’t count on that either.
The way apps work on android is, they are compartmentalized, if you disable a system app like this, the worst that will happen is some things may get wonky, if you enable it, it will start right back up again.
It’s just a service, if it was something that tracphone wanted to absolutely keep you from disabling, they would have put it in the bootloader. It’s most likely just a marketing app that they get kickbacks for including on their phones
Edit: Here, exactly like I said. My man you got this idea of a worst case scenario in your head with absolutely no evidence

Thank you! I’m a staunch believer that most of you don’t think about how much prior knowledge you need just to be able to use Linux, let alone not break things.
You also don’t know what people are struggling with
