      Nope, I think it’s a joke. More games, increased risk of injuries against teams that don’t really have much of an impact

          I suppose it’s beneficial for the comp it was a draw. If Al Ahly loses, then it kinda shows the gap in quality between the two sides and the comp is a bit of a ham-fisted, money generating sham. If Inter Miami loses, then Messi and co. Got showed up and the comp is a bit of a ham-fisted, money-generating sham. /tinfoilhat

          I’m not sure what the skill/quality difference is between Inter Milan and Al Ahly, but I guess I’m not surprised the game was a bit of a dud. Shit way to kick off the comp though if it’s something you were interested in.
