The ‘Courage Tour,’ a religio-political rally, is going around battleground states. It is focused on defeating Democrats, but also on defeating ‘demonic forces.’

It is absolutely ridiculous that they can see themselves behaving like violent assholes, and not stop and go, “Maybe we’re the problem?”

Or trump’s fucked up rhetoric. He didn’t even bother distancing himself from the PR garbage statement. He embraced it. He embraces political violence and saw over a million americans fucking die; most of them his supporters… and sent a violent mob in insurrection because he lost.

And yet, people being like “Hey, lets be decent to one another,” are the fucking demons. Christofascists. the lot of them.

It’s not that ridiculous when you consider what religion is and the fact that they fell for it. Once you put yourself in that situation you open yourself up to abuse and exploitation. That’s all this is.

If you do the first, you’ll likely have more opportunities to do the second down the line… assuming you survive.

“No, John. You are the demons.”

And then John was a zombie.

FWIW, Jesus was the zombie. John was a ghost.

If the man described in the gospels exists as a deity I think he’s probably more in favor of my anarchist queer pagan ass than these followers of his. He wasn’t unclear about his demands being to disrupt society through mutual aid, radical kindness, and an embrace of equality
