A B.C. woman who repeatedly trespassed on her neighbour's property and cut the tops off of cedar trees with a chainsaw has been ordered to pay nearly $150,000 in damages.

      Forgot how much I missed that community. Both Interesting and lightly dramatic.

      Learned more about the laws of English speaking countries there than I did in a lifetime before find the international LA subs.

    Dude, that’s like the OG example of karma in action.
    You can’t just go hacking down Mother Earth’s lungs and expect to waltz off scot-free. Trees have rights too, you know? $150k is just the universe’s way of saying, “Respect your elders,” and by elders, I mean those trees. 🌳✌️ #TreeLawIsRealLaw

    Cedar though? Man I respect trees and I respect privacy, but my sinuses call that hedge an assault with a deadly weapon xD

      Cedar is native to the region. If you don’t like the smell, you should never visit the west coast.
